Step On

The Buckinghamshire Primary Pupil Referral Unit is coordinating the roll out of Steps training in mainstream primary schools in Buckinghamshire.

Step On whole school training is the first step and schools can access this through a network of tutors based in schools. The training is free and tutors in each liaison group can be contacted to deliver the day (6hr).

Step On includes behaviour analysis, planning, language, consistency and low level guiding.

Step Up

Step Up training includes a higher level of physical management. Step Up training is delivered by Primary PRU tutors and can be accessed by contacting ajacob@primarypru.bucks.sch.uk

Step Up must have an audited need within the school and tutors will ensure the training is specific to the needs of the setting.

Training sessions are between 1 and 3 hours in length at a cost of £120 per hour for up to 12 delegates.

Note: Step Up training will only be delivered when a school has completed whole school Step On training
